Nubian Square Storefront Improvement

Roxbury Main Streets will soon launch a new storefront improvement grant program with $75,000 available to support eligible beautification projects for Nubian Square commercial tenants and landlords.
Funding to support façade and street-level improvements, including projects already underway. Funds granted on a rolling basis in May and June.

Small Business & Community Walkthrough
Let us show you around Nubian Square in Roxbury, Boston!
Join Roxbury Main Streets and our city partners in public health, public works, police, inspectional services and transit police, as well as community organizations, in walking through Nubian Square to check in with residents and small business owners.

This program is in partnership with the City of Boston Office of Small Business, the Public Work Department and Boston Main Streets.

Small Business Workshops
Every year, Roxbury Main Streets hosts FREE small business workshops throughout Black History Month (February) to provide small business owners and entrepreneurs the information, skills and tools they need to succeed.
Roxbury Main Streets last held the workshops in February 2023, with record-breaking turnout from more than 30 participants on average in each of the four sessions. This program is in partnership with the City of Boston Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion and the Office of Small Business.
