Roxbury Main Streets, in partnership with the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts (ULEM), The American City Coalition (TACC), and the Roxbury Cultural District, on August 19th, at 6:00 PM at the Marriott Hotel in Roxbury.

This important community forum will focus on revitalizing and strengthening our commercial district through inclusive leadership and collaborative solutions. With all certified candidates invited, this will be an opportunity to hear from candidate's vision and priorities with residents, small business owners, and cultural leaders in the heart of Roxbury.

Forum Focus Areas:

​

1. Advancing marketing and community events that bring purchasing power back to Roxbury’s business district.

2. Encouraging local institutions and organizations to host events at neighborhood businesses.

3. Managing loitering and disruptive activity in the Square to support a safe and welcoming environment for commerce.

4. Attracting and supporting artists and creative entrepreneurs to drive growth in the Roxbury Cultural District.

All candidates will receive equal time to respond to moderated questions on the above themes. There will be no cross-talk or direct rebuttals to ensure a fair and informative setting for community members.
