The ‘Bury Funny Stand-Up Comedy Fundraiser 2024

Featuring Comedians from NBC, HBO, BET, Amazon Prime Video,

Apollo Theatre, Comedy Central, and Dry Bar

Roxbury Main Streets will host its third annual Comedy Fundraiser on Saturday, May 11, at 8:00 p.m. at Hibernian Hall, 184 Dudley Street, Roxbury MA. Featuring comedians headlining comedians Rodney Perry, Myq Kaplan, Bethany Van Delft, Ricci Hector,  and Corey Manning, proceeds from the evening will support the ongoing revitalization of the small businesses in Nubian Square and Roxbury.

Featured comedians for what will be a night full of fun and laughter will include:

• Rodney Perry – Rodney Perry, who is a veteran of the US Navy and a comedy legend, was Co-Host of the Mo’Nique Show, starred as Harold in “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family”, and has appeared in countless movies in various roles including Coming to America 2. Currently, Rodney Perry is preparing to shoot his first comedy special for television entitled “Rodney Perry All The Way LIVE!”
• Myq Kaplan – Myq “Mike” Kaplan,  who describes himself as “a vegan Jew who was often mistaken for being gay”, has appeared on the Tonight Show, Conan, Letterman, James Corden, Seth Meyers, Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, and America’s Got Talent. He has a half-hour special on Comedy Central, a one-hour standup special on Amazon called “Small, Dork, and Handsome,” and a new Dry Bar special called “Live From The Universe,”
• Bethany Van Delft – Bronx-born Bethany Van Delft, who moved to Boston with her Marxist Dutch dad, black Puerto Rican mother, and siblings when she was a child, has appeared in The Moth Storytelling, Prime Video’s Stand-Up in Stilettos, Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, and performed and produced the Women in Comedy Festival and The Boston Comedy Festival
• Ricci Hector – Ricci Hector, a Springfield, MA native of Haitian descent, is a rising comic who brings his spontaneous and playful style to clubs across the US and abroad. With hilarious tales of his family and life, Ricci keeps audiences begging for more.
• Corey Manning – A Comedian By Night and Superhero By Day, Corey is known for his “slick, upbeat, funny, over-the-top comedy,” Corey Manning has headlined The Apollo, is currently streaming in Amazon Prime, appeared on NBC’s Family Feud with Steve Harvey, and showcased in Jamie Foxx’s Lollapalooza's New Faces in Comedy.

Early Bird General Admission is $20.00 through March 29, 2024, with a special pricing of $25.00 for Seniors and Students.
